Root for Remmie Tee | The Story

For those who know Remmie, you’ve witnessed how the Lord shines so brightly through her little soul. Though she is six-years-old and doesn’t have words, we know she speaks to the hearts of everyone she meets. You can feel it. Remmie has an extremely rare genetic disorder that greatly affects the way her body develops. Her diagnosis is accompanied by severe seizures that continue to stand in the way of her reaching important milestones in her development. Lyndsey, Remmie’s mommy, heard the Lord tell her to “build the army” by sharing glimpses of her daughter’s life with all those willing to see and listen. After years of searching for the right doctors for Remmie, she is now in the care of the most incredible team of functional neurologists in Austin, TX. She is currently undergoing treatments and therapy to begin restoring the parts of her brain that need healing in order for development to take place. Like so many emerging fields, health insurance has yet to recognize this field which has led to some difficult financial challenges.

Lyndsey is the creative behind Paper Napkin Press and her main gig is designing hand-lettered graphic tees that inspire and uplift. She has designed an entire brand dedicated to Remmie in hopes to share her story and raise funds to help cover the cost of her therapy and treatments.
